Marques R. Smead, age 31, passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2015. Born in Falmouth, he was the beloved son of Gail Texeira and Daniel Smead. Marques served overseas on embassy duty from 2002-2006 as a Sgt. for the U.S. Marines Corps. He was full of life and loved to be the center of attention. He was kind hearted and caring. Marques had many friends, was very giving, had a great impact on people and loved by all. When he walked into a room his presence was known. He is now with his brother Robert Smead and his Nana and leaves behind 4 brothers, many aunts, uncles and cousins and his beloved nieces Alexis and Peyton and his beloved Paxton. His funeral service will take place in the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on Wednesday, December 2nd, at 10:30 A.M. Interment in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:30 P.M. Calling hours on Tuesday, December 1st from 4-8 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.

Hi Marques, November 20th is almost here. I dread that day every year im sure you know. My life is so so hard without my sons. I miss you guys so much I just wish someone could understand the severe pain I deal with each and every day because life is truly a battle for me. This is an age that a mother gets older and she could really use her strong men around. Some day I will see all of you and I will be happy because earth is hell without you guys. Love mom.

Bobby I tried to leave you a message I'm leaving It on your brothers page your both together. It's coming closer to another year since I lost you both. My best years in my life was raising you both. I always put my sons before anyone and I know you both knew that. It's still hard the grief has not ended. I look at your pictures from the days since you were born until the days you both were men. Bobby you were so funny and you were always my son who in my eyes was the one that always protected me. Lol at times you thought you were my boss and I loved that about you and at times you and your brother were always keeping tabs on you. Your there with nana, your other grandparents so I know you guys are safe and sound. Love you both so so much. I still can't believe you both are gone. My heart is so broken the 3 closest people are there and when it's my time I will be with the 3 of you. Love mom. Xoxo

I miss you Marques and Bobby you both are in my presence I can feel the both of you. I loved you guys so much. I will never get over this pain. Today is Dec. 20th 1 month since you left us Marques. This is so very sad for me with you being even younger than your brother and my last and only child. I dont even understand GODS plan.
