Antone S. Medeiros

Antone S. Medeiros, age 95 of Bradenton, FL and previously of Fall River, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 20127 at the Braden River Rehab. Center. He was the husband of the late Mary (Pereira) Medeiros and the son of the late Frank & Maria (Trindade) Medeiros. Antone was a US Army veteran of WW II and while living in Fall River, he was a parishioner of St. Michaels Church. Prior to retiring, Antone worked for the former Fall River City General Hospital as a Stationary Fireman. He was the father of Antone Michael Medeiros (wife Julia) of Parrish, FL; brother of Irene Correia of Fall River; grandfather of Mark Anthony Medeiros (wife Meagan) and Wayne Medeiros (wife Stephanie); great grandfather of Joshua Leach, Jared, Tyler and Dylan Medeiros, Heather Godek (husband Seth); great-great grandfather of Dakota and Jada Godek; several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Manuel, Edward, August, Frank, Joseph Medeiros, Dorothy Wing & Mary Soares. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Assoc. Main St. Fall River on Friday with visitation from 8:30 A.M.-9:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michaels Church at 10:00 A.M.
