Leonard Cecil OutlawROCK HILL - Mr. Leonard Cecil Outlaw, 83, of Rock Hill, S.C., passed away Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. Services for Mr. Outlaw will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, 2013, at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, 355 E. White Street, with Pastor Kenny Vinson officiating. Burial will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery. A native of Rockingham, N.C., Mr. Outlaw was the son of the late Carl and Mary Hawkins Outlaw. He was of the Christian faith and a retired house painter. In addition to his parents, Mr. Outlaw was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard and Joe Outlaw; and his sisters, Virginia Yarborough and Faye Rhodes. Mr. Outlaw is survived by his son, Travis Outlaw of Rock Hill; his daughter, Shirley Outlaw Lear and husband, Jackie of Rock Hill; his brother, Harvey Outlaw and his wife, Nancy of Sharon; his sisters, Margie Nichols and Frances Outlaw, both of Rock Hill; his two grandchildren; and his one great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, 355 E. White Street, and at other times at the home of Francis Outlaw, 331 Pendleton Street, Rock Hill. Condolences may be made online at www.greenefuneralhome.net.

Leonard was my father's (Clarence Eugene Outlaw's) nephew, with his father, Carl, being my father's brother. I'm glad he lived a long life and my condolences go out to all his family and those who knew him. --Linda Keveloh, Channahon, IL (815-255-2697)
