Mr. Daniel "Hillbilly" Herron, 60, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at Piedmont Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Friday, August 10, 2018 at Tirzah ARP Church with Rev. Andy Putnam officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the Family Life Center.

Born in Rock Hill, Mr. Herron was a son of Bettie Ruth Helms Herron of Rock Hill and the late Albert Harrison "Pat" Herron. He was retired from Integrated Power Services in Rock Hill with over 30 years of service. After retirement, he went to work for C.J.C. Cycle Shop in Rock Hill part time. He was a member of the Goldwing Road Riders Association, Chapter H.

Hillbilly was a "jack of all trades". He restored old cars, loved fishing and hunting, enjoyed traveling especially on his motorcycle and played golf with his brother. He enjoyed serving others and spending time with his family and grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, Danny is survived by his wife of 12 years, Dianne Sweatt Herron; his children, Tonya Case (Earnest) of Rock Hill, Ashley Herron (Michael) of Spartanburg, Billy Rinehart (Sherry) of Gt. Falls and Michael Rinehart of Spartanburg; six grandchildren, Jennifer and Haley Rinehart, Shelby Dunlap, Carlie Case, Ashdyn and Robbie Collins; his brothers, Joe N. Herron (Cathy) of Westminster and Rhett Herron (Judy) of Rock Hill; and many nieces, nephews, uncles and cousins.
