FORT MILL - Steven Gregory Grich, 23, of Fort Mill, S.C., passed away Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, in Clemson, S.C.

Born in Newport News, Va., on March 19, 1989, he was the eldest son of Steven George Grich and his wife, Lynn of Fort Mill and mother, Jeannie Grich of Richmond, Va. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Elaine Postma of Hilton Head, S.C., and Edgar and Mary Meehan of Palm Coast, Fla.

A sophomore Electrical Engineering student at Clemson University, Steven was incredibly intellectual and creative. His passion was music and its creation and the effect that music could have on a person’s state of mind. He loved creating music for himself and sharing his creations with others.

Survivors in addition to his parents are his brother, Shawn Grich of Fort Mill; grandparents, Frank and Roberta Grich of Clinton, Conn., and Frank Postma of Hilton Head, S.C.; and also many beloved uncles, aunts, cousins and countless friends.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at Palmetto Funeral Home, Fort Mill.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, Fort Mill, with Father John Giuliani, C.O. officiating.
