Mrs. Evelyn Louise Pegram McLeod, 90, departed this earth, March 7, 2018. Her service will be held at 2pm on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Russell Memorial CME Church, 703 S. Alston Ave. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday from 1pm-2pm just prior to the service.
Mrs. McLeod is survived by her children, Willie T. McLeod (Celeste), Evelyn Slappy, Rev. Walter McLeod (Delores) and Janet McLeod-Doran (Richard); daughter in law, Tessie Cousar; 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Truly loved Mrs. Evelyn McLeod! She had the sweetest personality and the kindest disposition of anyone I’ve ever known. She loved people with her whole heart. Miss her dearly. God has his special angel!!
