It was a pleasure to work with Rose as we planned the new kitchen she was creating for her daughter. It was during a visit with her that she and I made a pact that we would choose forgiveness for those who hurt us in the past. I thank the Lord for allowing me the pleasure and the blessing of meeting her. May He fill your home with peace and comfort during this time of sorrow.

Rose cared deeply about Sarasota-Bradenton International Convention Center, and it showed in everything she did to make it a more vibrant and dynamic facility.

Dearest Oscar,
My deepest condolences to you and Vanessa and all of your family on the loss of Rose. How sad for you to lose one who brought you so much joy.
Knowing what a good person she was, I believe she's now at peace in Heaven with our Saviour. And your turn will come to join her - as long as you behave and its never too late to start.
If there is anything I can do for you - I'm right down the street.
God Bless,

May 16, 2010 I was so saddened to read of Rose's passing. What an absolutely lovely woman. I remember working with her and getting to know her at the Sarasota-Brandenton International Convention Center. She was alway so customer oreiented, pleasant and warm hearted. We had lunch together one day and how I marveled at what a classy yet humble lady she was. The Lord will put her in charge of "Hospitality" no doubt. She will be missed by many. May the Lord comfort you Oscar and your family.
