Virginia's intelligence, elegance and passion for the arts was matched by her wonderful sense of humor. It was a pleasure to have known her, and she will be missed, but her positive impact on our Sarasota community
will live on as her legacy.

I hope that the happy times she shared with her family and friends will bring them strength and comfort during this very sad time.

Virginia was a wonderful woman and we will miss her greatly. She was a Delta Gamma sister, Alpha Epsilon Chapter, initiated in 1944 from Washington University. Our sorority motto is "do good" and if we to used 2 words to describe Virginia, "do good" would be perfect. Treasurer, Sarasota Alumnae Chapter of Delta Gamma

I met Virginia when she first came to Dayton, as I was working for H.A. Toulmin, Jr. I moved on, but met up with her again when she became a board member of Planned Parenthood of Miami Valley. As a nurse, she recognized the importance of women's reproductive rights.
