John and I went to High School, and college together, and grew up in the same neighborhood.
We kept in touch about every ten years.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I will always treasure our shared times. All the time you spent teaching me everything I know. Times like fishing trips at 4 am on Lake Conroe. The wonderful times we spent building furniture together and the times you spent helping me fix our house. I miss you and I love you Dad.

We go back 53 years to 1965 at VR21 when we first met and I had the privilege to take you and Dan MacLean through the simulator for initial pilot training at NAS Barbers Point, Hawaii. Both you and Dan did a great job. Then later at Braniff Int'l until '82, then to Piedmont/USAir. Retirement in '99 and saw you and Linda at the VR21 reunion in San Antonio a few years back and Elaine and I hoped to see you both this September. You will be missed! Have a safe flight West my friend. Godspeed!

We go back a long way; from DC-6s in VR-21 at NAS Barbers Point in Hawaii in 1965 to Braniff Int'l thru '82 and Piedmont/USAirways thru 1999 retirement. It has been 53 years total; Elaine and I had hoped to see you and Linda at the VR21 reunion in San Antonio this September. Will miss you! Have a safe flight West. Godspeed!

Some of my fondest memories are our days in F28 school. Your experience and professionalism made it easy for me as we successfully upgraded as captains with the best airline in the world. Hard to believe that was over thirty two years ago. I remember it as if it was yesterday. You will always be missed, Capt John.
