He was a good teammate in high s hool at western high in Detroit. A friend for over 60 years.

My favorite "Shop" teacher. I think he could relate to anyone.
Probably instrumental in my Local 80 Sheet Metal career.

So sorry for your loss. We remember Dennis as a good man. It's been many years since we've crossed paths. He was so kind to our children during the time your home was open for day care such a long time ago.

Mr. Dennis was a sweet man. I went to church with him at West Side Church of Christ. It was obvious he loved his family. He and Mrs. Ruth did a great job raising their children because they are all wonderful, sweet adults. So sorry and pray God will wrap his arms around you and provide comfort.

I always enjoyed conversations with Dennis. He was a very talented, hard working man. He and Ruth were my friends on Davis Mill Road and at church. His family was so important to him. My sympathies to his family. His work is done.

Holland Family Members,
When I think of Mr. Dennis, I immediately think of the love Mr. Dennis had for his family, his community, and his church. I am also reminded of the many conversations we had about teaching, and I could always sense his devotion to his profession of many years. I am also reminded of the love Mr. Dennis and all of the Holland and Woody families had, and I am sure still have, for TCCHS. The props that were designed and built by Mr. Dennis and the family for the TC Showcases were superb and could easily rival props used in major productions. Those who knew Mr. Dennis will attest to the remarkable man he was, one whose love for others, his family, his friends, his church, and his community resonated so strongly. Words are inadequate; however, I do want to express to each one of you my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your loved one. Our world will be a sadder one knowing Mr. Dennis is not here to add smiles to our days! Please know many in Todd County and at West Side are thinking of your family!

Holland Family Members,
Whenever I think of the Holland family, I immediately think of the love a father and mother had and have for their children and grandchildren. I met Mr. Dennis, Ms. Ruth, and their children and later their grandchildren through their involvement with West Side Church of Christ in Elkton, KY. Those who knew Mr. Dennis will share his tremendous love for his family, his community, and his church. Those who knew and know the Holland and Woody families will also share their love for theatre and music, with the Holland and Woody family devoting endless hours to the production of props for several performances at TCCHS. Those props, ones which would rival the props of major productions anywhere, are testaments to the talents of a former industrial arts instructor who 'gave back' to a community he and his family grew to love. Mr. Dennis will be truly missed by the many folks who knew him, his family, and his love for others. Please know many in Todd County are thinking of your family during this difficult time in your lives. The world is sadder today not having Mr. Dennis to add smiles to those a part of his world.
