John C. Freeman, Jr. of Southgate, 70 yrs old, Professor of literature for 33 years at U of D-Mercy. Graduate of Michigan State University. Doctorate in Literature from Wayne State University. Survived by loving wife, Margaret O'Neill, son John III (Sarah Pazur), daughter, Emily Jane, grandson (Ethan Pazur), sister Deanna Earl (Pete) of Cornwall, United Kingdom. Also survived several nieces and nephews, loving in-laws and many dear friends. Predeceased by parents, John and Betty Freeman, and brother, Todd Freeman. Private ceremony to be followed by memorial at a later date (due to Covid-19 Pandemic).
