Kathy was a creative and gifted teacher who shared ideas with colleagues and offered solid advice to parents. Over the years she taught hundreds of preschool and elementary children in Dearborn. For many of them she was their first teacher. Kathy kept a box of Kleenex handy for the first day of school--not for the children, but for the parents who were a little teary at leaving their young ones in her care.
