Susanne (Sue) Kostelnik (Brondos), beloved wife of George (deceased 2009) for 68 years, loving mother of Karen S. Rogers (Paul), Tim Kostelnik (Kim) beloved grandmother of Jason Arndt (Kristen), Jessica Fergin (Derek), David Kostelnik (Becky), and Emily Crosby (Sean), great-grandmother of Phoebe, Abbeigh, and Brecken Arndt, Allison and Andrew Fergin, Lucas and Lily Kostelnik. Predeceased by loving sister Mary Mertus (John), brothers Rev. Michael Brondos (Amelia) and Rev. Andrew Brondos (Elizabeth) and survived by loving sister Ann Jackson (Ralph). Sue leaves behind many nieces and nephews. Donations in Sue’s name can be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church (800 S Military St. Dearborn, MI 48124). I worked with Sue for 15+ years; first @ Oakwood Hospital on the post partum unit. When she started working for Dr Jewel & Dr Solberg, she told them about me. I was hired as their RN. Sue, June & I were a great team & became special friends. Sue was my sister in Christ (we both went to the same church, Emmanuel Lutheran) & my second mom. I have so many fond memories of our working together that I would run out of paper listing them. Suffice it to say, Sue will always have a special place in my heart & I will miss calling her on her May birthday this year
Best news is that I will see her again in Heaven

Karen, Tim & families, Cathy & I are deeply saddened by Aunt Sue's passing. Many of my earlies memories center around the good times our families had together, especially on holidays. Your mom was always an integral part of that, making sure we were welcome--and well fed! In particular I remember how she would decorate your house at Christmas with a big tree covered with ornaments and many gifts underneath. I know she was very proud of all of you. I think she now has the record for longevity in the Brondos clan, and it will be hard to beat. May God comfort you as you bid your final goodbyes. Love, Mike & Cathy

I was very BLESSED to help take care of this lady and her handsome husband George from 2007 until she went into the Assistant Living Place. She was my Spiritual mentor and one of my dearest friends.
