Geraldine Hoppe

HOPPE, GERALDINE; age 89; of Riverview; died on February 26, 2013. She was born in Detroit on June 20, 1923, to the late Roy and Dora Mohr. She married Dallas Hoppe and they raised their family in Wyandotte. Geraldine was an Avon Representative as well as a cafeteria worker at a Riverview Elementary school. She was a lifetime member of Riverview Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce (Paul) Lynch; daughter-in-law, Sheryl Hoppe; grandchildren, David, James, and Kimberly Hoppe and two great grandchildren; niece and nephews, Dee, Gregory, and Michael Farino and Brett Porter. She was preceded in death by husband, Dallas Hoppe; son, Craig Hoppe; siblings, Virginia Farino, Ken Mohr, and Marion Porter; and nephews, Keith and Kent Mohr. The Funeral was Saturday at R.J. Nixon Funeral Home. Interment at Michigan Memorial Park. Memorial donations to Habitat for Humanity or American Cancer Society.
