Ivadell Laverne Macy, 89, of Apple Valley, California, died on May 27, 2016 at Happy Home Care in Victorville, CA. Ivadell was born on August 29, 1926 in Compton, CA to Ermon and Mary Bynum. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Macy, daughter Jacqueline Macy, her parents, and siblings Fae Bowers, R.C. Bynum and Erma Keith. She is survived by her daughter Suzanne (Pat) Behrns of Blair, NE and her son John (Linda) Macy of Apple Valley, CA as well as ten grandchildren, Melisa (Pep) Cavazos, Kelly (Bryan) Dreckman, Katie (Shane) Kegler, Jacob (Jill) Behrns, Eryn (Michael) DeMello, Jessie Behrns, Keisha Williams, Sarah (Jacob) Brackens, Jeffrey Macy and Kyle Macy. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Apple Valley, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting in Ivadell's honor that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org
