HILLSDALE - Thomas Charles "Tom" Reid of North Adams, Michigan passed away Saturday, February 20, 2016 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was born January 28, 1966 in Angola, Indiana the son of Robert and Anne (Becker) Reid.

He is survived by his wife, Paula Reid, whom he married on June 23, 2001. He is also survived by two children, Trevor Reid of Jerome, MI and Kaleb Reid of North Adams, MI; four grandchildren, Kialey, Shaylee, Alexus and Tessla; one God-daughter, Amanda Rice; one brother, David "D.R." Reid of Grass Lake, MI; father, Robert Reid of Coldwater, MI; three sisters-in-law, Kelli Reid of Grass Lake, MI and Jamie Byers and Kimberly Byers both of Jerome, MI; three nephews, Dominick, Peyton and Jack and two nieces, Alyssa and Allison. He was preceded in death by his mother, Anne Reid.

Tom worked as a machine operator at Paragon Metals in Quincy and he was very gifted with building and construction. He loved spending time with his family and friends and he enjoyed camping and riding his Harley-Davidson.

A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Thomas Charles "Tom" Reid will be held at the Hampton-Kurtz Funeral Home in Hillsdale on Saturday, February 27th beginning at 11 a.m. with Pastor Eric Sass officiating. Interment will take place in the Northlawn Cemetery in North Adams. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home in Hillsdale.
