David Edlund

David Oscar Edlund passed away Jan. 22, 2014. He was born March 20, 1931, in Murray, Utah. His parents are Oscar Edlund and Luella Cline. He is survived by his wife, Georgia Kidman Edlund, and six children: Wendy Dupaix, Carrie Jackson, Robert Edlund, John Edlund, Lisa Anderson and James Edlund. He is also survived by his brother George Edlund, and two sisters: Marie Humphreys and Linda Cook. He was a loving father, husband and friend. He graduated from Utah State University and worked 5 years as a chemist at Thiokol, then 31 years as a research chemist at Miles Laboratory in Elkhart, Ind. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25, in the Mendon Chapel, 20 N. 100 West in Mendon. A viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center St. in Logan, and prior to services on Saturday at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
