He is survived by his wife Erin McEvoy, son Aaron Christian Bruner, brothers Casey Bruner and Bart Bruner, sister Shohn Calvin, many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. He is also survived by his grandmother Reba Bruner and predeceased by his grandparents Jack Bruner, Mary Newton and Carl Newton.
Ryan worked as a case worker with Tahoe Turning Point, Inc. in South Lake Tahoe, Calif. He is a loving husband, brother, father and son. He will be remembered as an adventurous, outgoing and friendly man who loved not only to notice and appreciate nature, but taught all of us how to experience God's beautiful world. "I'll learn you," is a frequent comment heard by all those he loved and taught.
His short time on earth was spent in many beautiful locations including Boone, N.C., Aspen and Breckinridge, Colo., Jackson Hole, Wyo., and Charleston, S.C. He was a professionally certified, trained and talented chef whose creations were enjoyed by all.
"There are things that we don't want to happen but have to accept, things we don't want to know but have to learn, and people we can't live without but have to let go."
A memorial service for Ryan will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at the Lord and Stephens Funeral Home located on Jimmy Daniels Road in Bogart, Ga.
