So sorry to hear of Sherm's passing. We were so blessed having had the privilege of serving with Sherm in stake callings in the Gresham South Stake. Sometimes there are no words for the feelings in the heart, but we learned so much from him. I was in awe every day that I worked for him at CES. He never ceased to amaze me. He always made me chuckle when he said he was going to clean off his desk. He would bring into his office a rather large box - push everything from the top of his desk into the box - tape the box closed - and exclaim "job done!" Loved that man. May your memories comfort you. Sending our deepest sympathy to you, Marilyn, and all of your family. Love to all of you.

Marilyn, Our condolences to you. We feel bad that we didn't make it to Smithfield before Sherm's passing. We have enjoyed getting back in 'contact' with Sherm the past 10 years. ---- all of the e-mails back and forth have been great. We are going to try to get up there. Love from Elder Thacker. Many fond memories of East Central States '57 to '59.
