Ivan Ver Hoeven Obituary
Ike was born in Zeeland and has been a lifelong resident of the area. He retired from Holland Hitch after 37 years and was also a Park Township Firefighter, retiring in 2014 after 43 years of serving our community. He was a member of Fellowship Reformed Church and the F.O.P. of Holland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Julia Ver Hoeven; and 2 brothers, Gerald Ver Hoeven and Harvey Ver Hoeven.
Surviving are his wife, Bonnie; children, Ivan "Ike" Ver Hoeven, and Kelly VerHoeven; 1 grandson, Mitchell Ver Hoeven; 1 great grandson Leo Ver Hoeven; brother, Robert (Dawn) Ver Hoeven; sister, Sharon (Dale) Kent; brother-in-law, Roland (Sandra) Wolters; many extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Fellowship Church, 2165 W. Lakewood Blvd., Holland.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 16, from 5-8:00pm and Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at Fellowship Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fellowship Reformed Church or to the Diabetes Association.

bonnie and family char and i where sorry to hear that ike had passed way. he was a good person to work with at the holland hitch and we all had a lot of fun working with ike he was loved by all of us that knew him and he will be miss dearly. we will pray for all of you and keep you in our hearts. ron and char biolette

Bonnie, Ike, and Kelly,
We are deeply saddened to hear of Ike's death. He was such a great guy to be around. His heart so big for those he loved especially and the ones he called friends. We'll never forget the "racing years". Such a blessing to have known you, Ike and the boys.
