Carole Mitts Obituary
Carole Marcelle Mitts, age 62, of Fennville, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at her home. She was born to Ralph and Betty Baker of Holland, on September 12, 1958. She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Baker and brothers, Scott and Mike Baker.
Carole is survived by her husband of 46 years, Wesley; daughters Amber (Travis) Latchaw of Pullman, Ashley Mitts of Holland, And son Lance (Zoila) Mitts of Saugatuck; sisters Ruth (Bill) Kaye of Saugatuck, Jami Baker and Dean Berens of Holland, Maree Baker of Dorr and Amy (Bill) Embil of Douglas; brother James Baker of Holland; 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandkids, 8 nieces and nephews, and several great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Carole graduated from Saugatuck High School. She went on to attend Lake Michigan College, graduating with honors and a 4.0 GPA. She obtained her Registered Nurse License.
She loved her flowers and gardening. Her passion was racing, which she watched every Sunday on TV. She enjoyed reading books. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who will be truly missed.
Following Carole's wishes, a cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held in the springtime for anyone that wishes to attend.
