MARLENE CAMPBELL 74, of Honolulu, died November 20, 2007. She owned CHANGES, the recycled clothing store that was onKing Street for 12 years. Marlene is survived by ason, Robin; three daughters, Linda, Rita, and Natalie; and two grandchildren, Nick and Jackie. We are grateful for the time we had with our mom and nana, but the depth of our love for her makes this even more difficult. We loved her dearly and now will have to deal on a daily basis with the loss of her physical presence in our lives. Though we will have to somehow find our way in this world without her unconditional love, constant support, and amazing advice; we will carry with us her integrity and her abilities to keep things simple and take life as it comes. She also had a rare gift of playfulness that helped her see the opportunity for fun in every twist of life. We will use the strength she instilled in us to carry each other through this time of loss, knowing in our hearts that she is in a much better place with the Lord. An informal memorial service will be held today,December 1, 2007 at 1 PM at the Waikiki Yacht Club. LYMTYLM Updated on 12/01/2007.
