Andrew "Andy" Cannatella, 87, a native of Waco, Texas, and resident of Golden Meadow, died at 7:40 p.m. Sunday, March 3, 2013.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Golden Meadow. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church Cemetery in Golden Meadow.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Gloria Orgeron Cannatella; sons, Andrew Cannatella Jr. and wife, Connie, and Robert Cannatella and wife, Pam; daughter, Susan Ruth and husband, Michael; brother, Joseph Cannatella Jr.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Cannatella Sr. and Rose Walker Cannatella.
He was a veteran of World War II.
He loved hunting, fishing and golfing.
