Memories and Condolences
for Jerry Eppes

Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. I am a 1969 graduate of Palestine High School, and have known the Eppes family for many years. With the passage of Jerry and other Eppes family members, "Reality" is serving me notice that time is slowly slipping away. I look good on the outside, but it seems that I am wearing out from the Inside/Out. Youth is wasted on the young. God bless each and everyone one of the Eppes family. I wish you good "Health" and Happiness. Jim Ed Jones. "Go Wildcats"- Go Deer Park Deer! [email protected]

Elizabeth, it seems as if there are no proper words to express the loss of your loving husband and our best friend. Jerry was my best friend and we loved hunting, shooting and hanging together to discuss this dear oil industry that we share. Michelle joins me in sending our condolences. Jerry knows that we will see him in about a minute. Needless to say, he will be on all our hunting trips. Please let us know if you need anything. Love - Pete and Michelle Ladd

I met Jerry in 2009 and worked some oilfield business with him. I hadn't seen him in several years, but knew he had changed jobs. He made an impression and was always a gentleman. My condolences to the family.

In the short time I got to know Jerry and enjoy his company in the field hunting birds; there were stories told that were full of life; adventure and usually some good laughs! A true gentleman that I'm sure lived most of those stories and a true gentleman that will be missed by all of us as he takes his place beside our father in Heaven. Jerry you are gone but not forgotten and there will always be a place beside the camp fire for you! One day we'll all hunt together again: in the meantime; happy trails and full limits my friend!

Jerry was a fine fellow and one hell of a friend. We worked together and had a lot of fun cooking and shooting clays. I am going to miss him, mostly just sitting and telling stories. Ride off into the sunset ol boy.

Jerry was a great guy and I'll miss our phone calls about the state of the world, including the oilfield in general. He loved oilfield sales and the opportunity that it gave him to mix and mingle with people, especially at the Houston Rodeo BBQ contest. Jerry will definitely be missed. Our prayers are with you.
