Forrest Freeman Obituary

FORREST JAY "JACK" FREEMAN, JR. went to join our heavenly Father on August 25, 2009 at the age of 82. He was born in Alexandria, Louisiana on October 5, 1926. He graduated from Longview High School and Tyler Junior College. He is preceded in death by his parents Forrest Jay Freeman, Sr. and Mattie Belle Hollowell. He is survived by his wife, Margie Freeman; brother Orric Freeman and wife Carol and sister Patsy Reeves and husband Jerry; his three daughters, Cindy Thumwood and husband Greg, Beckie Carson and husband Tony, and Pam Ptacek and husband Tom; as well as his grandchildren, Christopher Jay Webster and wife Christi, Jason Schmitz and wife Christi, Melody Baker and husband Dave, Amy Pistorius and fiancé Christopher Hale, Kevin Jay Pistorius and wife Natalie, Julie Nemeth and husband Paul, Heather Whitworth and husband Bret; 16 great-grandchildren; along with many other family and friends. Funeral Services are set for 11:30 AM Friday, August 28, 2009 at First Baptist Church of The Woodlands, 11801 Grogan's Mill Road, The Woodlands, TX 77380 with burial following at Houston National Cemetery. My condolences to you and your family. This was a real shock. I admired Jack immensly and found him to always be ready to help. I simply cannot say how much I will miss him.
