I am just now learning of Dr. Collins passing. I knew him when he was a new professor at UH/CLC
In the faculty suite in which I was
a secretary. He withstood some good natured ribbing from the other professors (the suites were interdisciplinary at that time) and of course countered with his wonderful sense of humor. I am truly heartbroken to hear he has left us. My late but sincere condolences to his family.

George has always been my calming pace maker at office for decades. Long ago, I asked him (program chair then) how I can make up work before a family leave. George replied that "No worry, you let us know how we can be helpful." Such rare gentle soul... really miss Dr. Collins~ deepest sympthy to Donna & kids...

Ken and I have many wonderful memories of George and Donna as members of a young couples class many years ago at First Christian Church. Donna, Ken and I send our deepest sympathy. George's warmth and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.

Donna, I didn't know George and just "met" you on the HAPS support group last week, but I want you to know that I know your pain and and pray for peace for you. It has been 7 months for me. Love and prayers to you!
