HENRY PECHEUX Obituary

HENRY J. "HANK" PECHEUX moved on to be with the Lord on January 10, 2010, a few days before his 91st birthday. Born in Newburgh, NY on January 19, 1919, he graduated from Tufts University with a degree in Chemistry and went to work for Dupont. He became a production superintendent and worked for Dupont for over 39 years.Hank was a kind and gentle person who always saw the good in others. He was the person most of us strive to be. He will be missed but his memory will live on in the hearts and souls of those who knew him best.Hank was loved by so many people. He was blessed to have had a long and loving relationship with his wife of 65 years, Nelda, who will miss him very much. Their two sons, Nick Pecheux and his wife Rhonda and Chris Pecheux and his wife Debbie, and their families are blessed to have had Hank in their lives. Pam Pecheux also was a significant part of Papa's circle of loved ones."Papa" to granddaughters Nicole Needham and Kristin Pitts and "GrandDad" to grandsons Andrew and Jay Pecheux, he was always interested in their lives and always looked forward to seeing them. Papa also was blessed with six great grandchildren, Bryce, Chance, Paige, Cade, Kendall and Ty. His sister, Anne Lang, of Jamaica Plain, MA also survives Hank as well as many other loved nieces and nephews.Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5 pm until 7 pm on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer. A funeral service will be held at 10 am on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Christ United Methodist Church, 3300 Austin Parkway, Sugar Land, TX, followed by a private family burial in Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
