Lenora was a great lady! We essentially grew up together. When I think of Lenny I think of her singing and laughing.

Lenora was part of a warm, welcoming group of moms I met at Donovan Park when I first moved to the Heights. I've thought of her often, her laugh, her care for her children, and for extended family. I'm so sorry. She leaves so many rich memories. My blessings and condolences to Dave, Ben, Grace, and the many other dear friends and family members. Sabrina Strawn

The last time I saw Lenny she was smiling and happy. It was at Staci and Darren's wedding and she had driven up in a van with her family (carrying on a Post family tradition). I met Dave, Ben, and Grace for the first time and got to see Lenny delighted and happy in being a wife and mother. That is a memory of her that I will keep.
To the Carlsons and Posts I give my sincere condolences. We will all miss her.

It seems that Lenny has been a part of my life forever. We have been friends since jr high, through high school, and into our college years. My daughter's favorite younger boy is Ben--and one of her choices for another mom was Lenny. Funny, as I always looked upon Lenny's parents in that same way. Lenny brought so much joy to those she knew...and I have so many funny (hilarious) memories of her as she grew into the woman she became. I will miss her so very much. My heart and prayers are with Dave, Ben, and Grace; with Vicki and Don. I know Lenny is in a better place, but she will be sorely missed.

Don, Vickie, Dave, Ben, Grace, Darren, I only knew your daughter, wife,
mother and sister as a little girl and once as a Mother and wife in 2000.
I was impressed both times- May peace and God's love help you through
this difficult situation. Bill and Georgene Harrison, Spokane, WA

I went to Crockett High School in Austin with Lenora. I was in the Class of '77, she was in the Class of '79. We were in choir together. In fact, we were both in the Crockett choir group that went to England for a concert tour in the Summer of '77.

I have wonderful memories of "Lenny." She was beautiful, inside and out.

I and another old high-school friend had lunch with Lenny several years ago, when I found out that she, too, was now living here in Houston. I haven't seen her since then. But I know she was a believer in the Lord, so I'm confident she's safe in His arms now. And I know she's using her wonderful voice, singing in a heavenly choir.

My life is richer, because I knew Lenora.

I had the pleasure of meeting Lenora when my oldest son and her daughter Gracie entered Kindergarten at St. John's school. They quickly became fast friends and through their friendship, I gained another friend in Lenora. Lenora was such a positive, loving, and funny person. Words do not express the heartache I feel for Lenora and her family. To Dave, Ben, and Gracie- please know that you are in our prayers.

With love,

My sweet neighbor and friend on the boulevard in the Heights. We first met when we both ran outside in our pajamas to talk to the work crews laying cable on the boulevard because they were making so much noise it was waking the kids. We became fast friends and I truly loved Lenora, although we had lost touch in the last few years, but always thought of her. Lenora just beemed a light of kindness and you always felt better after being in her presence. My whole family is extremely sadden and shocked to hear about Lenora. Dave, Ben and Grace our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
