Linda Reese Obituary

LINDA FISHER REESE, a native of Raleigh, North Carolina, died peacefully in her home in Houston, TX on October 4, 2006 after a courageous struggle with brain cancer. She was 37 years old. I graduated from Broughton High School with Linda in 1987. A friend of mine told me about the obituary and I was shocked. I remember Linda very well. I haven't seen her since high school but I remember her being a really sweet spirit, funny, and always smiling. I have two small children of my own and my heart is so grief-stricken for her children, husband, family, and friends. May God bless you at this time of great loss. You are all in my prayers.

Love,

I would have loved to have known Linda, but her grace and true beauty were evident in everything I ever read about her. It is impossible to grasp, but God must have needed her for something else up in heaven. She is with you always....love never dies.

Dear Ted and Family-
We have been praying for you all and will continue to pray for God's love to surround you and the children. Kathryn has been praying for Teddy since we left Houston in Feb. 05. The website helped us to know what to pray for and keep up. Linda was always at Westminster with a smiling face. I know that her smile is brightening Heaven's halls now.

Jesus said, "Don't let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust in me. There are many rooms in my Father's house; I would not tell you this if it were not true. I am going there to prepare a place for you. After I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me so that you may be where I am." John - Chapter 14 - verses
1 thru 3.
My prayers at this time will be for God's great comfort and healing for all the family and friends of such a special person.
