Richard Andrew Tebow

RICHARD ANDREW TEBOW, born Feb. 2, 1921 in Sherman, Texas, passed peacefully from this world in his sleep at home on May 8, 2006. "Tebow", as he was known to many, was a US Army Air Corps veteran during WWII, an avid golfer, animal lover, and active member of Houston Elks Lodge #151 until his death. He was a master woodworker and past Vice President of Production of Triumph Industries (Storecrafters). He was a friend to everyone he met. Survived by wife Ann Kerryn King Tebow, daughters Chris Tebow Smith (Anthony) of Houston, and Jan Tebow Baja of Tampa FL; grandchildren Cole Tebow Clary (Messina), Stacey Marie Miller (R.L.), Jennifer Anne Eckhardt (Larry), Sarah Camille Moore and Ryan Christopher Taylor; and great-grandchildren Kaitlyn Greene, Gavin Eckhardt, Kannon Eckhardt, Caleb Moore, Aaron Moore, Joshua Moore and Noah Miller. Precedeased by first wife, Jacqueline Ann Backers Tebow; brother Gwyn Burch Tebow; parents George Cephus Tebow and Bertha Mae Burch Tebow; and grandson Michael Paul Montgomery. Annie has lost her beloved Besheret, her soulmate. Our entire family has lost our treasured father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Tebow's pet babies will miss his loving companionship. We will all miss him immeasurably but know that his spirit will live strong among us until we meet again. A remembrance service followed by a celebration of Tebow's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2007 at Houston Lodge #151, Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks, 10150 W.
