I am sorry to hear of your loss. I lived across the street from your family on Chadbourne in the 70's. I have fond childhood memories with John and the other neighborhood kids. Jenn, I'm so sorry for your loss. We've never met IRL that I know of, but after reading some of the material about John it's very possible that we could have seen each other in Plantersville or Waxahatchie.

I cannot imagine your pain at this time, & I want you to know that when you need to fall there are 2000+ sistahs waiting to catch you. We love you & hurt for you & your family during this time.

You are all in my thoughts & prayers. May God's peace be upon you during this time.

Mea, Maria,
Mr. Forsythe, and Siblings,
Our deep sympathy is extended to you at this tragic time. We are saddened with you in the passing of the one whom we also love as "Christoforo" ~ your John, Dad, son, and brother.
Your family members are all in our thoughts and prayers as you pace through the immediate days of decisions and services. You remain in our continued prayers for the future as your lives on this terrestrial plane are forevermore changed.
Christoforo's friends are blessed to have known him, to have seen him as a family man and to have observed him as a Renaissance man. Maria, you are your Dad's pride and joy. You are truly blessed that he has taught you many things. May you have willful, joyful recall of his gleaming smile. Mea, what a wonderful husband you have had!
Mr. Forsythe, we do not know you personally, yet we do understand that the loss of one's son is so out of the natural order of things. We shall keep praying with you all for Comfort to sustain you in the weeks, months, and years ahead.

Dearest Mea and Mary,
Words are such small pathetic things when life gives you a punch to the gut of your soul like the loss of a husband and a father...but these are all we have. That and the wonderful memories that Christophoro etched in our minds at every turn. Hold tight to the good memories and know that you were loved and are loved by hundreds of people who mourn with you. John would be so shocked to see how many thought so highly of him because he was always the first to see the good in others and the last to see it in himself. I have prayers and candles lit for all 3 of you and know that if I can help you, I will. Love and many hugs. Annes

We are blessed with having known John's gentle spirit.

I keep seeing his face before me, smiling and laughing; remember all the times I was able to provide his water on the list field as fought rapier.

He amazed me when he decided to pursue metalsmithing and just went after it, with little knowledge or access to books; I will miss our conversations on the subject and the potential he had as his skills grew.

Most of all, I think I'll miss his grace, the gentleman that he was, never wanting to speak ill of someone, always ready to lend a hand, and his obvious love for Jennifer and his daughter Mary (my, how she favors him).

All my prayers!

John was a true gentleman! His skills far passed those on the rapier field - he was a Renaissance man in so many different ways, dancing being one of them. He'll be missed on so many different levels by so many people!

One thing I'll miss a great deal is his smile. His whole face lit up and his eyes would just shine. When did he smile the most? When he was with his wife and daughter!
