RICHARD EDWARD FLICK, Sergeant First Class, United States Army, of Fresno, Texas died Sunday, April 9, 2006 in a tragic auto accident. Mr. Flick was born in Elmhurst, New York the son of Edward and Ilse Flick. He was married to his best friend and soulmate Janna Algard Flick He was a Sergeant First Class with the 321st , M.I.B.N. with 18 years of loyal service. He served our country in several deployments in support of National Intelligence as a Czech linguist. He also served in Desert Shield/Desert Storm and recently returned from Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was a faithful employee of Century Air Conditioning Supply. Survived by his loving and devoted family, wife, Janna, parents, Edward and Ilse; grandmother, Madeline Flick, brothers and sisters, David Flick, Lisa Woodard, Greg Hansen and Deb Meurer; Janna's parents, George and Susan Algard; her brother, Kurt Algard, grandmother, Janet Cranmer and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Loving, dedicated husband, best friend to Janna, sunshine to his parents, and loyal brother. He has touched the lives of numerous family and friends. The family will receive family and friends Thursday, April 13th, from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Brookside Funeral Home, Champions. Funeral services will be Friday, April 14, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at The Chapel of Brookside Funeral Home, Champions.
