We have received inquiries recently regarding memorial donations in my father's memory. We would be honored by donations made in his name to ANY charitable cause that is important to you. A cause that we have mentioned to those who asked is:

The Friends of Big Bend National Park
Big Bend National Park, TX 79834-0200

Although this is a relatively new organization that he never had a chance to join, Big Bend was his (and our family's) all-time favorite vacation destination. We traveled there almost every Christmas of Marian's and my childhood and have visited since then on several occasions, though less frequently. We plan to take his ashes there when we are able to get our family together to return on a (hopefully not too distant) future trip.
