PEGGIE MARCANTEL COLLINS, 73, passed away November 3, 2009 in Houston, Texas. She was born December 21, 1935 in Kinder, Louisiana to the late Alex and Myrtle Marcantel.Mrs. Collins was a longtime resident of Pasadena, and was a member of the Apostolic Temple United Pentecostal Church in Pasadena.She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Melvin Collins; daughter Paula Wells of Kinder, Louisiana; son, Kevin Collins of Pasadena, Texas; brother, Jerry Marcantel of Homer, Louisiana; sisters, Linda Kem of Kinder, Louisiana, Geneva LeBlanc of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Miranda Long, Mikayla Wells, Kase Collins, Kara Collins, Heather Collins and a host of other loving family members and friends.A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM Wednesday, at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena. Services will be held Thursday, November 5, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Apostolic Temple, 2630 Allen Genoa Rd, Pasadena. Interment will be held at 4:00 PM in Green Oak Cemetery, Kinder,Louisiana.

Only God knows the pain you are going through, but He also knows that Sis. Peggy is in her new body. No pain. This fine Christian lady will be tremediously missed by us all. Our love and prayers, not just for now, but for the days that lie ahead.
