WILLIAM KRUSE Obituary

On September 19, 2010 our beloved parents, WILLIAM (BILL) WALTER KRUSE, age 75, and DAWN JUANITA KRUSE, age 73, of Spring, Texas went together to be with the Lord, Jesus Christ. Bill was born September 4, 1935, in Bennington, Nebraska. Dawn was born July 18, 1937 in Des Moines, Iowa. Bill and Dawn were high school sweethearts who met at the young ages of 15 and 17. They were married two years later in Houston, Texas on November 13, 1954 and have been happily married for almost 57 years. Houston was their home for over 54 years. They were devout Christian parents and enjoyed numerous years at Ascension Lutheran Church, where they served the Lord in several capacities. Dawn & Bill enjoyed numerous hobbies including golfing, fishing and a passion for playing cards; however, their real passion was their family. Bill and Dawn were owners of W.W. Kruse Contractor. Bill was a well known Master Carpenter in the Houston area, having assisted in building numerous restaurants and churches such as Lakewood Church. Dawn was the secretary for W. W. Kruse Contractors and was a successful artist and enjoyed playing the piano. They are survived by their daughters Sunny Kay Barringer and husband George, Stacy Lynn McClellan and husband Rick; son, Kevin William Kruse; sister Bobbie Lynn Fort and husband Bill; brothers, Richard Wiley and wife Ellen, Don Kruse, Jym Kruse and wife Jan; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren with one expected in four weeks.
