Tenenbaum Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of Mr. Tenenbaum's death; he was such a nice man.
I taught at The Montessori School of Houston where Rachel attended as a very young toddler. She quickly won my heart and became a favorite of mine! She was young enough and small enough that I could pick her up and hold her for a brief time before she squirmed her way out of my arms and back to her world at her eye level. She was always curious and waddled around looking for adventure as her "signature pigtails" flapped around and danced. As I got to know the Tenenbaums better from school drop-offs and pick-ups, I began baby sitting Rachel and Cayla. Both are so lovely and, as I remember, had the most beautiful smiling faces!
I just saw Mr. Tenenbaum's Obituary and wanted to tell you how I knew him and how truly sorry I am for your loss. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you during your time of immeasurable grief and sorrow. Having just lost my mother Dec. 30, 2012, I am quite familiar with some of what you may be feeling, as well as the processes you're going through as his survivors.
