Frank was my roommate and a teammate at the University of Texas A&M playing football. He was a great friend that always had my back.

Frank, I miss you. You were a great friend during high school and college. As we both were classmates and football teammates at Brenham high school and the Fighting Texas A&M Aggies. Thanks for always having my back.

We didn’t have the privilege of being around Frank too much...only at a few family events. But, even though those encounters were few, you could readily see what an awesome guy he was! I remember when the house he and Connie built was in planning phases. Frank had the plans spread out in the kitchen, showing us all of the details that he was so excited about. I remarked, wow, I think we need to come and live with y’all! He quickly answered, “ you are welcome to come and visit, but you cannot stay!” LOL

Connie,
Although I never met Frank, the love you shared was very evident on social media. He seemed like a great guy. I am so sorry for your loss and wish I could say something insightful and comforting to ease your pain. Lean on your friends and family and let them carry you through your grief. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong.

Frank was one of my good buddies during my high schools days at Brenham High and my teammate at Texas A&M on football teams at both places. After high school football playing days we were offered football scholarships to A&M and that's where we both decided to go. Frank took the best care of this old shy country boy all the time and I will always remember him taking care of me.

Connie, I am so sorry to hear of your husband’s passing. Though I never met him, it sounds like he was a wonderful man with many accomplishments and loved by many. You must have comfort knowing he didn’t suffer long. God Bless you and your family in your time of mourning. I lost my husband 5 1/2 years ago and I can tell you that as time passes you’ll always hold those precious memories in your heart! ❤

Friend, business partner and mentor. Frank was all of these things to me and I will dearly miss him. Whether it was work at Aztec's offices, lunches at Post Oak Grill or Molinas, field trips to Brown Co., Frank was a character. Always willing to call issues out as they were and never accepting political correctness (just a guild-based negotiation tactic!), Frank was so interesting to be around and his political blogs unrelenting. Even at my age, I learned a lot from his nuggets of wisdom. Frank was a tenacious and thorough tactician, able to analyze a problem through multiple lenses - what a talent.
Connie and family, my deepest condolences on your loss

Sending love to Frank’s entire family and all those who loved and were loved by him. That’s a Lot of people!
What a great, kind, and generous man!
I will always remember fishing with him, and throwing live fish we’d caught to the dolphins on Port Aransas Bay.
Blessing to you as well, ConnieMom as you continue the adventure of life. Love You!

You are in our thoughts and prayers! He was a very good man and Ron remembers going fishing with him and working along side of him on the mini homes. When we heard the news we were very shocked and heart broken!! He will truly be missed by both of us!

Frank was a sweet heart, always bring people into the fold, not meeting a stranger. It's hard to believe that he is not here with us, is presence was huge and he will always be remembered as a kind soul. He will be forever remembered.

I learned much about this man from many diverse experiences. Frank was on a mission throughout the years I’ve known him. If he was giving advise, it was best to just listen. He always had a purpose, whether it was where the Redfish were likely to be located, or why a certain politician was or was not suited for the job. Frank and I got along just fine because I respected him and I believe he respected me. We had so many common interests; Fishing, story telling, joking around, building houses, the oil patch, politics, country boys, and many private serious issues we discussed while sitting in his boat on the back bay in Rockport. I must not forget to say that I always knew the importance Frank placed on his wife, Connie. I knew this because, more than once, he ought right told me!
Other things I know about him: Frank was a researcher. He was a curious man always looking for a better way to accomplish what some people would think impossible. Frank was a devout Christian man. He obviously was brought up to, and believed in God. As an example, dinner time taught me of his Christian beliefs. Frank’s way of saying the Blessings before the meal were, in themselves, a window into this man.
I will miss my friend Frank.
