Hecker, Victoria A.
Victoria A. Hecker, age 93, a resident of Birch Creek Assisted Living, DePere, a former Manitowoc resident, died Monday morning, December 24, 2012 at Birch Creek.
She was born on April 20, 1919 in Green Bay, daughter of the late Frank and Anna Kulpa. On December 27, 1941 she married Walter W. Hecker at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on April 6, 1985. Victoria was an active member of the Manitowoc Senior Center for many years.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Nancy & John Guse, Sheboygan; two sons and daughters-in-law: Walter G. & Cheryl Hecker, Green Bay, Richard & Gay Hecker, Egg Harbor; five grandchildren: Christopher (Lisa) Guse, Rebecca (Christian) Trost, Robert (Dr. Susan) Hecker, Elizabeth (Scott) Thiry, Dr. Grace Hecker; five great grandchildren: Trinity Hecker, Celeste & Henry Guse, Taylor & Anna Trost; one brother-in-law and three sisters-in-law: William & Joann Hecker, Centerville, Georgia, Elva Kulpa, Two Rivers, Grace Kulpa, Two Rivers; and a special niece: Patricia and her husband Henry Kotarek. Other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was also preceded in death by many brothers and sisters and other relatives.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Pleier with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, Manitowoc, from 9:30 a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 until 10:45 a.m.

Memorials may be made to the Manitowoc Senior Center.
Vicky was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an extraordinary homemaker, a "Blue Ribbon" winning seamstress, an excellent cook, a ceramic artist, and a gardening expert. She passed away on Christmas Eve, her most favorite day of the year.
