Grandma,
What a year it's been. New cities, new jobs, new family members. It is a sad thought that you couldn't be here with us to celebrate. You may not have been here in person, but it is no question that you have not only been there watching and smiling down on us through the changes, but you have surely been an inspirational force behind it all. You left us too soon. We love you, we miss you, and we will continue to remember you.

Hey mom, miss you. Life's been a little rough the last year, but we keep on trying. As you would say, it will be all right. Things will get better. You just have to stick it out. I would rather hear that from your lips than hear it in my mind. I know you are there every day for me and my family and we are here every day for dad and each other. Your a great mom. I love you. On angels wings. Deno

Hey Grandma,
It's still strange to think it's already been a year since we have all been together as a family. I know there hasn't been one moment where all of us haven't missed you. From you always questioning what was going on in my love life to making me your cookies every time you came over, I miss you. It's sad to think we can't see each other for a while but I still get comfort from being able to talk with you every now and then. I know grandpa misses the hell out of you and we are doing our best as a family to try and fill some of the void that he feels after you had to leave. He loves you every second of the day and I know you wish you could just be sitting in your rocking chair right next to him on a lazy afternoon, enjoying each other's presence. We will continue to cherish every memory and moment we had with you because no matter where we are in in this world or the other, we are a family and we are always together. I love you grandma and keep watching down on us.
Love your grandson Ben

As we have survived the last year without Mom and with many tears and a few smiles, my prayer is that we have many more smiles than tears for the next. Knowing Mom is with Jesus and in perfection has been such peace. We are very proud of Daddy and the entire family. Mom's legacy is her kids, grandkids and friends who continue to watch over Daddy with love. We miss her very much and that is a tribute to her love. Jeff and Cher Blevins

Hi Grandpa,
Just want to let you know I am always thinking about you and here for you every step of the way. You continue to be the epitome of what it means to be a respectful and honorable husband and father. I hope to be half the man you are today and will always look up to you as a role model. We miss grandma very much and will continue to celebrate her amazing spirit in the coming years. I love you and grandma very much and so blessed to have such great grandparents.
Love,

She welcomed me into her home, made a place for me in her family, and gave me motherly love, acceptance and affirmation at a point in my life when I needed it most. It is with fond memories and a heavy heart that I join her family one more time in commemorating her life and the anniversary of her homecoming.

It's so hard to believe it's been a year since Mom went to God. We miss her and her loving grandchildren miss her fun. We've lived for a year without her and know she is at peace. It's the survivors that have to find their way. We love you Mom and we're trying to take care of Daddy for you.

Mom,
We had a wonderful memorial for you and your beautiful church and Harrigan's took care of everything and so well.
You had so any friends and relatives there and everyone talked about all of your wonderful attributes. Of course the love of Daddy and your children was everywhere!
We know you are in heaven and that you have peace. Now we have to try to adjust our lives without you.
All our love,
Your Loving Family.

I have great memories of you Mom. She taught me the way to remember how to spell the name of the new street I would be living on when I moved away to college. I was always amazed at the way she put the love of her family before anything else. I am sure you all have many stories of good times to share and memories to treasure. My thoughts are with you...
