Annette A. Bowen
Annette A. (Grable) Bowen, age 77, of 2404 Jackson Street, Two Rivers, died early Tuesday morning, April 30, 2013, at Aurora Medical Center, Manitowoc County.
Annette was born July 9, 1935, in Oshkosh, daughter of the late John and Leida (Abraham) Grable. She graduated from Oshkosh High School with the class of 1953. Annette relocated to Two Rivers from Sturgeon Bay. She had worked at the Milwaukee Shoe Company in Sturgeon Bay, the Elks Club in Two Rivers, retiring from the City of Two Rivers after 16 years on July 9, 1999. She loved to cook and bake, play cards, especially Uno and SkipBo and enjoyed talking to people.
Survivors include three sons and two daughters-in-law: Gordon Bowen Jr, Two Rivers; Randy and Mary Bowen, Sturgeon Bay; Curtis and Elizabeth Bowen, Manitowoc; one daughter: Debra Loucks, Two Rivers; ten grandchildren: Josh, Matthew, Samantha, Heidi, James, David, Crystal, Steven, Jacklynn, Aaron; 13 great grandchildren: Blake, Alea, Cody, Andrew, Nike, Safari, Christopher, Selena, Colten, Taylor, Kaylynn, Bryce, and Makenna; two sisters: Lois Johnson, Spokane, WA; Gayle Bartow, Oshkosh; and one brother: Clifford Grable, Ill. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, aunts and uncles, brothers-in-law, and husband, Gordon Bowen Sr.
A Memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013, at The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Pastor John Aitken. Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and Annette will be laid to rest at Lake View Memorial Cemetery in Oshkosh at a later date.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, May 3, 2013, at The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 5:00 p.m.
