Hello Mary, family, and friends,
As folks leave this world, they live on in us. We lock away the best parts of them in our hearts. We then share those parts of our loved ones with the folks that share our lives. This is my belief. I am sorry for your loss. Mike Ginter-3rd grade teacher at Madison Elementary in Janesville WI

To the Eckley family;
I was always impressed with this family man while I taught ar Manitowoc Luth. High. He was always around for school functions whenever his schedule permitted, and he brought his great personality and big smile with him. And as I was privileged to teach William and Greta in Weyauwega, I was happy to see Grandpa and Grandma Eckley at Kindergarten Grandparents' Days.In these latter years, he made the best of difficult times. And now he's free of pain and trials, safe at home with Jesus. May the Lord comfort you in knowing that there will be a great reunion in the presence of the Lamb.
God bless you all.

The Eckley Family: I will never forget the kindness shown my sister, Diane, when Pete was a patrolman. Diane had followed Mom to the store, but Mom turned right, and sister turned left. Mom panicked when she got home and no Diane! She called the TRPD, and the dispatcher assured Pete would bring her right home. Diane was sitting in the front seat eating an ice cream cone and having the time of her life riding in a police car. Bless his big heart.
With most heartfelt sincerity,

To the Eckley family, So sad to see your husband, father and grandfather passed away. I've had a high respect for him for so many years. I remember the first time I addressed him as Mr. Eckley and he made it a point to let me know that that was his father and he is "Pete". I pray that the Lord will comfort you during this most difficult time, knowing that he is now where we all hope to be someday.
