Flea (Dennis) C. Lorrigan

Flea (Dennis) C. Lorrigan, age 58, of 530 Manitowoc St., Reedsville, died peacefully Saturday morning, Dec. 29, 2012 after a brief illness at the Aurora BayCare Medical Center, with his family at his side.

Flea was born Sept. 26, 1954 in Manitowoc, son of Elaine (Meissner) Lorrigan and the late John J. "Jack" Lorrigan. He attended St. Patrick's Grade School in Maple Grove and was a 1972 graduate of Reedsville High School. Shortly after graduating, he began working for Brillion Iron Works where he was employed for 40 years until the present time. Flea loved camping, with much time spent at Cedar Valley Camp Ground; he enjoyed socializing at local establishments; and was an avid Green Bay Packer Fan. Flea also enjoyed playing Jeopardy; he was very fond of Pabst Blue Ribbon; and was a well known local artist (Bird By Flea).

Survivors include his son, Brady Lorrigan of Reedsville & special friend, Calla Braun; his mother, Elaine Lorrigan, Maple Grove; four brothers, John (Rita) Lorrigan, Little Rock, AR, Thomas Lorrigan & special friend, Pam of Oshkosh, Don (Faye) Lorrigan, Greenleaf, Rick (Amy) Lorrigan, Reedsville; five sisters, Joan (John) O'Leary, Green Bay, Judy (Dale) Eichhorst, Greenleaf, Sal (Gary) Tisler, Menchalville, Diane Lorrigan, Francis Creek, and Ann (Jan) Willman, Francis Creek; many nieces & nephews which include: Shawn, Senior Chief USN (Barbara) Lorrigan, Shannon and A.J. Lorrigan, Amy (Darrin) Derricks, Bridget (Eric) Derge, Jessica (Craig) Dellemann, Pete (Tanya) Eichhorst, David (Jeni) Eichhorst, Nick (Terri) Lorrigan, Ashley (Troy) Schoblaske, Brandon Lorrigan, Lisa (Geoff) Davis, Lori (Korey) Klister, Chad (Dana) Lorrigan, his Godson, Jeff (Cristin) Tisler, Jason Grall, Amanda (Jamey) Binversie, Brad Dirkman; Alyssa, Bryan, and Callie Willman; and Kyle, Kevin, and Kory Lorrigan; and 21 great nieces and nephews. He is further survived by a special friend, Sandy; step-children: Tonya and Cory Moncada; and four step grandchildren: Mellanee, Karly, Makayla and Parker; several aunts & uncles; his camping buddies at Cedar Valley Camp Ground; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, John J. "Jack" Lorrigan; and two nieces, Carrie Grall and Lori Eichhorst.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Holy Family Parish, 1100 W. Ryan St., Brillion. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Timothy Brandt, with burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Maple Grove.

Relatives and friends may call at Holy Family Parish in Brillion, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening, January 2, 2013. Visitation will continue Thursday morning at the church from 9:00 until 10:15 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in Flea's name.

Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 - 18th St. Two Rivers is assisting the Lorrigan family with funeral arrangements.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff on the 3rd floor ICU at Aurora BayCare, Green Bay for the wonderful care and compassion.
