Kent, Kevin J.

Kevin J. Kent, age 50, of 2407 Adams Street, Two Rivers, died at home after a courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis with his family at his side on Tuesday, March 19, 2013.

Kevin was born February 13, 1963 in Manitowoc, son of the late Dean and Shirley Kent. He was a graduate of Washington High School with the class of 1981. Kevin then graduated from Moraine Park Technical College, Fond du Lac, WI in 1982 with a degree in appliance servicing.

On March 17, 1984 he married the former Teresa Reed in Two Rivers. The couple was blessed with 29 years of marriage together. Kevin had his own appliance repair business, then going on to work for Best Buy and finally retiring from Veri Fine Dairy, Sheboygan due to his illness. After losing his sight and most of his mobility, he enjoyed walks on the duck path with his wife and listening to local sports on his radio. He will be remembered as kind and gentle with a sharp wit. Kevin was a loving father and husband.

Survivors include his wife Teresa Kent, Two Rivers; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Dan and Joyce Kent, Two Rivers; Chris Kent, Mishicot; one daughter and son-in-law: Emmie and Jesse Delveaux, Rhinelander; one furry friend Sparky; and his mother-in-law: Evelyn Reed, Two Rivers. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by his father-in-law Bernard Reed, Sr., a sister-in-law Ann Reed, two nephews RJ Reed and baby Patrick Reed, maternal grandparents Emma and John Krueger and paternal grandparents Otto and Ruth Kent.

Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center and a memorial service for Kevin will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers.

The family will greet relatives at friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at 6:30 p.m.
