Jocelyn Miller Obituary
Manitowoc - Jocelyn "Josie" E. Miller, age 19, a Manitowoc resident, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at her residence.
Josie was born on May 31, 1999 in Manitowoc, daughter of Alona Basken and the late Richard J.Miller Jr. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Josie worked at Culvers in Manitowoc for the past four years. She loved music and played the saxophone in band and jazz band for seven years. Her favorite color was blue and she also enjoyed singing and reading. Josie loved making people happy and was always making goofy faces to get a smile out of those around her.
Survivors include her mother: Alona Basken; one sister: Shayla (Connor Hagen) Miller; one brother: Levi Basken; three nephews: Kade Hagen, Jayden Barry and Malichi Basken; her grandmother: Janice Basken; and two grandfathers: Oscar Cerna and Richard J. Miller Sr.; one aunt: Saycha (Shirlee) Basken; two uncles: Zeffer (Krysta) Merchant and Gregory T. Miller; and her best friends: McKenna Metzner-Kubichek, Crystal Thomas and Alexis Farr. She is also survived by many great aunts, uncles, great cousins and by many friends who loved her dearly.
Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and a Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2018 for Jocelyn and her father, Richard, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. David Beaudry.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 3:00 p.m. until 5:45 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Josie and Richard.
