Gabriel Vasquez Obituary
Vasquez, Gabriel

Gabriel Vasquez, age 30, a resident of Manitowoc, found eternal peace following his life long battle with many medical issues, and most recently cancer, on Friday, December 14, 2012 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.

Gabe was born on July 12, 1982 in Manitowoc to Benjamin and Barbara Vasquez. He attended Reedsville schools and graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 2001. Gabe was an avid collector, enjoyed music, being a D.J., watching the Green Bay Packers, working with computers, and above all, cherished the time he was able to spend with his family and friends - especially his two nephews, Keshaun "Keeter" and Javon "Bon 'a Bonavon". He was a member of Hope Community Church in Manitowoc.

Survivors include Gabe's parents: Ben and Barb Vasquez, Manitowoc; four siblings: Emilia Vasquez, Westminster, CO; Zac Vasquez, Manitowoc; Vanessa Vasquez, Manitowoc; Sonia Vasquez, Manitowoc; two nephews: Keshaun and Javon McCall; aunts and uncles: Jenny (Gary) Waack, Tom Brull, Clare (Jay) Geisler, Joe (Kim) Brull, and Audrey (Ken) Broehm; godson: Isaiah Denson; also many special friends and relatives. Gabe was preceded in death by his grandparents: Alfred Brull, Florine Beilawski, John Bielawski, Conception Gonzalez, and Raul Gonzalez; and two uncles: Donald and Ronald Brull.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Hope Community Church, 4408 County Road B, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at noon. Pastor John Aitken will officiate. Online condolences may be sent to
