Vivian A. Waskow

Two Rivers - Vivian A. Waskow, age 95, a Two Rivers resident, passed away early Saturday morning, November 3, 2018 at Atrium Post Acute Care of Two Rivers.

Vivian was born on December 8, 1922 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Peter and Erma (Hindt) Koch. She was a graduate of Two Rivers Washington High School and was later employed at Schwartz Manufacturing and Paragon Electric. On September 16, 1944 she married Richard Waskow at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on November 11, 2007. Vivian enjoyed traveling to visit family all over the world, reading, walking and spending time with friends. Later in life she loved getting to Facetime with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, Two Rivers.

Survivors include her children: Cheryl (Andreas) Ioannou, Cyprus, Shirley (William) Pilzak, Cape Coral, FL, Charles Waskow, Madison, Jane (Richard) McGee, Racine; her grandchildren: Tanja Pilzak, Nicole Ioannou, Nickandros (Gina) Ioannou, Christopher, Sakina, Marquis and Javon Waskow; her great grandchildren: Shamia, Sonny and Saleah Waskow, Constantina and Andriana Ioannou, Aria Leigh Childres; one brother: Richard Koch, Two Rivers; one sister-in-law: Adeline Waskow, Two Rivers; and special friend: Colleen Schroeder, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband: Richard; her parents; one granddaughter: Katrina Pilzak; one daughter-in-law: Lolita Waskow; one brother and sister-in-law: Lyle and Doris Koch; one sister: Mabel Raduenz; and two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law: Howard and Fran Waskow, Robert Waskow.

Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc, and funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Julie Barger with burial of cremated remains at Pioneers Rest at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. (Noon).

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made in Vivian's name for the benefit of Parkinson Research Institute, 945 North 12th Street, Ste 4602, Milwaukee, WI. 53233.

The Klein and Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
