Richard Lee Poling
Feb. 16, 1928 - Sept. 13, 2013
Richard Lee Poling Sgt. Ret. passed away in Nampa on Sept. 13, 2013 at the age of 85.
Richard is predeceased by, Walter Poling & Rita Proudfoot Poling
Richard is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Rita & Keith Dickerson of Nampa, Melissa & John Manning of Warren and Deborah & Steve Driskell of Nampa, 5 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren.
Richard was born in Cassidy, West Virginia in Feb. 16, 1928. He graduated from Cassidy High School 1945.
Richard was in the 101st airborne earning nine metals including the Bronze Star. All while in the Korea & Vietnam wars. He was a good soldier.
A visitation will be held at Alsip & Persons Funeral Chapel, 404 10th Ave. So., Nampa on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2013 from 5pm to 7pm. Prayers will be offered by Rev. Carl Dowell.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013 at 10 am at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 Horseshoe Bend Rd., Boise.
