He was a wonderful uncle with a great sense of humor. I remember when uncle Gust and his daughter JoAnne came to Arizona for his sister Helen's funeral and they stayed at our house. In the morning he wanted a cup of coffee I told him that I didn't even own a coffee pot, but I would go to the store and buy him a cup. He said that was fine as long as I didn't buy him any damn froufrou coffee.
I was lucky enough to have great neighbors that I could go over each morning and borrow a cup of coffee for uncle Gust.
He will be greatly missed by all of us.

I will always remember the times I saw you whenever we visited Nampa. You helped answer questions about our family history and I enjoyed talking to you about them. You're missed by everyone and I will never forget you!
