Our loving brother, John Grady Bagley of Middleton left this mortal life due to a massive heart attack on December 28, 2013 at the age of 64 to join his Lord and Savior. John was born on September 28, 1949 in Compton, CA. He was the second of six children to be born to Grady and Jacquelyn(Godfrey) Bagley.
John attended Capital High School, Boise was a member of the band playing the saxophone and graduated in 1968. Married Patricia Britain in 1969 and they had three children. He lost his beloved daughter Jeanie Marie in 1980. He was also preceded in death by his father Grady M. Bagley, July 5, 2012.
John worked at various jobs in both Idaho and Utah. John owned his own custom cabinet and furnishings business in Utah for a number of years. John most definitely wore many hats and was a very hard worker all his life.
He attended college in Springfield, MO to become a minister. Was assistant pastor in his father's church in Nampa and was pastor of a church in Caldwell for many years.
John was an active member of the Knights of Columbus in Utah and Caldwell. Attended Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Caldwell and a proud member of the Broke Down Bunch here in Middleton; who lovingly called him "The Chaplain".
John was survived by his sons David and Michael Bagley (wife Bobbi) who gave him five grandchildren Kayla, Kerrigan, Eoin, Keldon and Tryston. John also left befind his mother Jacquelyn, two brothers James, Robert (wife Marcie), three sisters Donna Aldrich, Mary Krebs (husband Keith) and Nancy Zink (husband Michael) and so many nieces and nephews, friends and family members who loved John very much. His kind hear, generous spirit and wonderful laugh will be very missed by all.
