On Sunday Sept 4, 2016 Robert L. Gaskins passed comfortably at his home with family near. His family is so grateful for the adventurous life he lived and loved. Bob recently celebrated his 82nd birthday on July 20, 1934. His life was one to celebrate and services will be held at Deer Flat Free Methodist Church, 17703 Beet Rd., Caldwell Idaho on Monday Sept 12, 2016. Service will start at 10:00 am and no cemetery service will follow.
Bob is survived by four children and their families. Cindy (Chuck) Vincent, Rhonda (Rich) Pickett, Spike (Tambra) Gaskins and Stacey (Vi) Gaskins. Ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. His sister Norma (Bud) Horton & family. Nieces & Nephews of the Gaskins family. Nieces, Nephews and in-laws of the Sapp family. Many loving members of the Bowen family.
He is preceded in death by parents Russell & Helen Gaskins, wives Betty J Gaskins and Mary Lue Bowen Gaskins, Brother Dennis and Sister Connie.
His last words were of the love he had for his family and our heavenly Father. In lieu of flowers the family would be so appreciative for donations toward a food bank. Your donations can be brought to the service or you may make a donation in his memory to any local or favorite food bank. Paying forward the gift of giving. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness.
